"Soul Gauntlet" Part 2 of 3. Infinity Crusade crossover. Script by Terry Kavanagh. Art by Alex Saviuk (breakdowns) and Don Hudson (finishes). Cover by Alex Saviuk and Bob Wiacek. The Goddess and Moondragon are not happy with the web-slinger's doubting of the cause he's fighting for on Paradise Omega! So they banish him to his own soulscape! And inside this deeply personal reality, the Spectacular Spider-Man battles the likes of Archangel, Moon Knight, Quicksilver, and Sasquatch; while Peter Parker simultaneously fights the Green Goblin, J. Jonah Jameson, and Carnage! What happened to paradise? It appears lost indeed. Will this "shock treatment" get the amazing one back in line (for the Goddess)? Cameo appearances by the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Alpha Flight, and the Silver Surfer. Backup story: "Acid Test" Part 2 of 3. Script by Terry Kavanagh. Pencils by Bill Wylie. Inks by Timothy Tuohy. Nightwatch and Deathgrin slug it out inside the Museum of Natural History until the acidic villain slips into the sewer system! (Note: This issue includes an inside back cover ad for the Avengers-Sugar Babies special edition.)
